We never apply the same standards across all ages. Our two models are designed for how children actually think and create at each stage of growing up.
Ages 4 to 8
Interest Model
Early childhood : Discovery and expression
At this age, drawing is all about the joy of creating. We celebrate, encourage, and nurture. A blue sun or a floating house is not wrong at age 6. It shows healthy imagination and emotional expression. Our reports highlight what a child CAN do, not what is missing.

4-8
Ages 9 to 12
Study Model
Upper primary : Skills and confidence
Older children start to care about how their drawings look. They compare themselves to others and can lose confidence easily. Our reports always begin with a genuine strength before introducing any growth area. We reward the effort to try something difficult, not just the outcome.
- Proportion, composition and spatial skills assessed
- Colour choices, shading and finish evaluated
